Mandarin Duck Painting

This is a portrait of a male mandarin duck that is indigenous to the Eurasia region. The painting is oil on canvas and is 18" by 24" and painted in Spring 2021 and has a satin varnish. The sides of the painting are 1 1/2" deep and painted black, so it will look beautiful both framed and unframed. This painting is based on a reference photo by Steve Allen from Wildlife Reference Photos.
